New Furniture

This is the new furntiture for the room. The guys from tutti bambini have put it up and now we just need to sell the wardrobe part of the set so we can set up and complete the nursery. The set has got the cot which can last him until four as you can lower and remove slats etc, a baby changer and drawers, a toy chest, rocking chair and rocking stool. It's a bit squashed at moment. Thanks to Caroline for lending us the Moses basket, FAB... thanks. We started the Active Birth course this week. This is all about natural birth and will fit in with the fact that Jen has booked the malden suite at Kingston hospital which is the midwife led area with a birthing pool. Should be fun and hopefully no drugs required for as long as possible. Also for those of you who don't know he has now turned from the breech position, which may be due several factors including yoga or the moxibusion of the yin /yan point of the foot (chineese holisitic stuff) and a bit of reiki administered by Me. He probably turned of his own will and none of these holisitc things were much cop but anyway, he's turned and we have 3 weeks left (probaby actually 4/5 weeks). Anyway Jen is prepping wedding stuff over the next few weeks so plenty to do.
Cheers, now to bed as I am knackered from my round of golf this afternoon.

Hi All, well I thought it was about time I added a bit on our blog. I have just started maternity leave today and it is weird. I keep thinking about what lesson I should be teaching and I can't quite get my head around the fact that I wont be working for eight months. I'm sure this will all change drastically when this baby arrives.

Anyway all is well here, got a midwife appointment on Wed and then if she still thinks he is still breech then a scan on Thurs or Fri. I'm really hoping he's gonna decide to be sensible and turn around. We're having our carpets cleaned today and got lots of stuff to do this week so I should be kept quite busy. I'm looking forward to seeing uncle Rob who is arrriving on Wednesday for a night. Take care , Jen xxx

Its relly cool thanks to 'Gran and Grandad Bowen' for getting it for us. The photos are taken in our lounge after our cleaner has been so thats why its tidy before you ask!!! The boys are in the process of organising my stag do and the girls are sorting the baby shower and hen party. Its all coming together...so far so good fingers crossed....

The nursery & News

hi folks, we have done the third pre natal course, one to go and a new one for two satursdays coming up. Thought you might like to see my paintings in the nursery which i did this easter, it took ages. the images are in stages from start (original purple wall) to the latest image. i painted a leopard, two trees, a croc, some ele, a hippo, a lion, a snake and a lake. Oh and a giraffe and some friendly dragon flies. I think it will scare the poor chap but jen is happy with it and we can go over some bits if he cant sleep. its not finihed yet, still struggling with the sun and the clouds and the lake edge but am getting there. The pram arrived this week too so thats up and running and the furntiure is arriving next week.

Its all getting close now, thanks for all your help and advice. More photos to follow soon, Luv Dan and Jen and Nando and bump!
